Synthetic and progressive cartography

Introductory page

Synthetic and progressive cartography of the acupuncture points on the ear aims to bring together the existing nomenclatures for each point and the corresponding bibliographies. The website can be viewed on your tablet.

By clicking on the points, you will obtain the record for the point with Paul Nogier’s three phases, the different nomenclatures and, where the records are complete, the directions for use, protocol and bibliography. The data will be entered progressively.

The main access is by one of the grids

Passing the pointer over the grid indicates Nogier’s points in phase 1, Bahr’s points are marked as BW and the Chinese zones as CN. (See the explanation for the notations)

In the interests of team work
Practitioners are encouraged to help elaborate this site by adding any missing data that they might have at their disposal about the points, bibliographic references or protocols that they have successfully used.
The project of the site is to be a point of reference for practitioners, a link between different nomenclatures, but above all a tool for researchers, in the absence of any real international standardisation. (See our choices)
